The Austin Congolese Association (A.C.A) was established within the Congolese community of Austin on February 6, 2016, with the purpose of fostering unity and mutual support among Congolese residents in the Austin area and its suburbs, creating a community that functions as one large family. Welcoming refugees through community sponsorship.


OUR MISSION STATEMENTS

  1. To bring together Congolese residing in the Austin area and its suburbs to support each other and live as one big family.

  1. To provide help, support,counseling and any kind of assisatnce to members during a time of death,illness, accident, disability, etc.

  1. To provide couseling and guidance to the new members in the community that help their transition in American culture.

  1. To empower community youth to focus on their education, protect them from criminal tendency, substance abuse and provide them with help to apply for scholarship if needed.

OUR MAIN OBJECTIVES

  1. Improve our integration in the American society

  2. Provide social assistance to any member in accordance with ACA status

  3. Promote harmony and cohesion between the members of our association

  4. Celebrate important and historical events of our country such as the independence day ( June 30, 1960)
